宫派八卦掌解秘
武术八卦派创始于清末董海川。董海川的大弟子尹福，字德安，号寿鹏，冀州（今冀州市漳淮乡漳淮村）人，尹福的关门弟子宫宝田，字子瑛，山东牟平县青山村人。我恩师张极甫，字长栋，号“海上逸士”，祖籍山东福山，即从学于宫宝田。宫师爷传授时因材施教，各人得到的各不相同，其实是微缩了董公八大弟子各派的风格。宫师爷在北京时有这样的事迹，尹福当时接董公的班，担任肃王府武术护院总管，晚上一宿值班，尹福坐镇王府中心，前门由宫宝田师兄田子谦守卫，后门由宫宝田负责，左右侧门则由其他师兄弟守卫，这期间曾发生某拳派武术宗师夜入肃王府，与宫宝田发生激斗的事。
